HAYLEY GROUP ACQUIRES SPARE PARTS SUPPLIER

Halesowen-based Hayley Group has acquired a supplier of industrial spare parts and components with sites in London and Cambridgeshire. Mercury Holdings (London) Ltd was snapped up along with ￡9.8m-turnover subsidiary Mercury Bearings Ltd. The financial details of the deal were undisclosed. Chris Clayden, founder of Mercury Holdings, said: "We are very pleased to join Hayley Group. "The combination of Mercury's experienced team and our existing network of branches in the London and the Home Counties combined with Hayley Group's nationwide network, positions us well to meet the evolving needs of our valued customers and provides a platform for growth for the combined group."
